Round in the mouth; balanced with good acidity and softness. Three French Hens sums up the old and new of the Languedoc. A French country wine in all senses, the secondary grape variety has origins in the Languedoc while the lead variety is more internationally known—Sauvignon-Vermentino. The packaging has a simple rustic feel. The name, developed by Boutinot’s creative team, is memorable and of course it is ‘laid in France’!
A wonderful and innovative blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Vermentino from southern France. A quite deliciously refreshing change from straight Sauvignon Blanc. The luscious exotic fruit aromas from the Vermention are balanced by the clean, zingy fruit of Sauvignon. Which results in a wonderfully aromatic, smooth, dry white wine.
