Tradition Reimagined:
La Mar d'Amunt

Celebrating Barcino's 20th Anniversary, the La Mar d’Amunt themed 12-course tasting dinner menu was meticulously curated and presented at Barcino, S Maison on October 2024.

 

This exclusive event marked a collaboration with the 2-Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant Miramar, under the culinary direction of renowned Chef Paco Pérez. Inspired by the raw allure and seafaring spirit of Northern Costa Brava, the 12-course menu was a heartfelt tribute to the shared love for the sea and the rich cultures that unite Spain and the Philippines.

Discovering South African wines with Rupert Wines

An evening of refined elegance as guests were taken on a journey through the captivating world of South African wines with Rupert Wines, expertly paired with an exquisite selection of gourmet cuisine at Barcino, NUSTAR Resort and Casino, Cebu City

Wine & Food: A pairing dinner with Vintae

Held in November 2023, the event offered a unique exploration of wine and gastronomy, led by Bodega Matsu’s creators and Liuba Letorova of Vintae, a WSET Level 3 certified wine expert. It was an enriching experience for both seasoned professionals and passionate enthusiasts.

The Art of Rum with Malagos Chocolate

In partnership with Malagos Chocolate, The Art of Rum offered a one-of-a-kind experience in rum tasting and food pairing. Guided by Master Rummelier Isabella Rosal—the world’s first, youngest, and only female Master Rummelier—the event elevated guests’ appreciation and understanding of rum in an unforgettable evening.
